eeeeehhh, yeah....
it's sad that the only days i work aggrivate the hell out of me. i can't leave until the last movie ends and the last movie that ends is Ladder 49 and it seems to be effecting my dreams. if i don't have a weird dream about something else it always turns out to be a dream about being a firefighter or having something to do with a house/building fire. so flustering. i had to work with jason last night too which wasn't fun.
did seem some old faces. saw maria on my way in from my break. stopped and said hey. then angela came up to see saw(no pun intended). she oked it with glen earlier that day but jason was being a dick and wouldn't let her in. she told him it was ok so he called glen and kept her at the box office until glen said it was ok. so she and her new man and a friend of theirs came up to the door man's stand where i was standing with marvin. she explained to marvin that "The Almight Zapata" said it was ok. he chuckled then she turned to me and said, "tell him if i see him on the street, it's his ass." i laughed and said, "you and me both." then i explained to her i only had 1 or 2 songs left for her cd. she replied with her normal, "very good." and went into her movie.
the rest of the day was pretty slow. it was hard to clean things up because i don't know what ads we don't need anymore. i did mess with marvin though. i had told him about the halo 2 trailer when i saw it friday so i started saw and came down stairs and watched door and told him he could go check it out. he came out jumping with glee. he was so hyped. he kept saying, "DAMN!!" and "OMG11L" and "oh man..." i said to him, "now you know how i felt." i told him it was coming out soon, had just over a week to reserve it. that was a shock to him. then we talked about spending a night at the theater playing halo 2 off a lcd projector we have. that would be awesome!!!
we hired some new people as well it seems. two girls and a guy, again. i'm beginning to see a patern in the way glen runs things. the guys name is jasper and he looks like he could be related to a guy that worked there for the summer. i talked to one of the new girls but didn't get a chance to talk to the other. she seemed friendly, got to know her a bit. this was friday. then as i'm sitting watching the grudge she comes in and sits next to me and asks me if i was off. i whispered to her i couldn't leave til the last movie ends. and she got up and with her boyfriend walked down the aisle looking for somebody. go figure.
and aside from homecoming that was my weekend. we lost, 10 to 29. good for us though, no play offs for us. wouldn't surprise me if we had to perform for the play offs. that or he'd ask for a pep band or make the jazz band do it. either way that would suck.
yeah, that's it. i'm outta here. no halloweenie for me either. i'm done, catch you all later.
