It’s a bright morning, the sun shining through the open window, falling across Dean’s face. Two annoying birds chirp outside the window, squawking greetings that pierce squawk shrill greetings through the textured glass. Dean stretches, yawning, before burying his head beneath the blankets. It’s too early.
