so I'm surfing Slashdot, when I come upon an article about the
Optimus Keyboard, a full 100+ key keyboard, that offers full customization depending on the application it's being used for. If you're interested by this yet, then I'm sure you've seen or heard of the swappable layout
Z-Board, which offers entire sets of keys for different apps, which you lay down on the board. Well this takes that concept to a new level, by offering an individual display behind each key, which changes depending on the application you are in. On the site, they show examples, such as English lowercase, Russian uppercase, a Photoshop layout, Quake III, and 10 favorite keys, with what looks like a language input selection key above them.
Here's hoping this thing goes on sale eh? I've already spent $80 on a mouse, I'd spend that or more for something like this.
