i think i'll ship myself back west
so since tuesday i've been in mobile, Alabama with my dear friend Carley Haynes and her auntie and uncle and her two cousins matthew and daniel. It's been pretty cool since i got here. I got a pedicure and went to the country club (ha!). I've tried some 'southern' foods. Like for instance fried dill pickles, a blt with fried green tomatoes, and a lot of random fish and some jumbala(sp?). Her aunt also has a house on Dauphin Island, that's right by florida and such. We went to Lulu's. It's jimmy buffet's little sister's restraunt. They also have a wave runner and carley and i tore it up on it. I almost threw us off at one time. It was funny. The trip was made into even more great fun by convincing carley that it would be wonderful to skinny dip in the gulf. she tried to get away with wearing bottoms, but i just wouldnt have it. hahaha ohh man..it was fun. by any means though, we had to pack up early 'cause i dont know if ya'll know or anything, but Hurricane Dennis is coming full speed at us for sure. haha, as we were leaving town and people were boarding up there was this house boarded up and all the boards they had painted things like, "DENNIS SUCKS" and "OH NO NOT AGAIN!". apparently the island is just finishing repairs from Ivan last september. anyways, hope everyone is having fun! hopefully i'll get home on time! I fly out tuesday and the hurricane is suppose to be here Sunday/monday ish. see ya'll!
