Holiday Rush is Over!
Well, the holiday rush at Castaway Bay is almost over. Things will slow down a little for the next couple of weeks. Then we are going to hit our busy season. The next few months will be crazy. Had a great Thanksgiving. Went to have dinner with Amanda Smith, Jake McClead, Liz Smith, Leah Smith, Rich Edwards, Pete Price, Sheri Allen (Shermomma), Courtney Hicks, and a few others. It was great. I fixed turkey and deviled eggs. I HATE peeling boiled eggs. It takes forever! What else...oh yeah...one of my lifeguards decided to try and fix me up with a friend of hers. His name is Brian and he seems like he is a really great guy. I just don't know if I am ready for a relationship again. It has been 5 months since Drew and I broke up. I should be ready, but I am not sure. I still catch myself reading Drew's live journal and worrying about everything that he is going through. It makes me just want to help him out and do all that I can. But, I do not want him back. I don't want that headache of being with someone that is so confusing to himself and me. It was too hard, and I don't want to go through that again. I just hope this new guy is more in control of his life. I don't want someone to babysit! That sucks! I heard Hector is coming for the Christmas Party and I am really, really happy about that one. I tried to get Captain Jen to come work at Castaway Bay, but she just didn't want to. I really miss her and all my Paddlewheel Captains! I miss rides in general, but I feel like I am really making my mark on Castaway Bay. Could be a scary thing...huh guys!
