My vacation has started, has yours?
Alright, I know that most of you reading this journal have day jobs... real jobs... big boy and girl jobs... unlike me, and while you might be a bit jealous of me having all the free time in the world right now, I am jealous of you! You get a paycheck, you are probably having some cutsy little Secret Santa exchange at work. I am not. I will be sitting in my house drinking eggnog till I vomit. I would go out, but you see cars need gas, gas requires money, money is something I am lacking.
I do have a confession, I always say that I am unemployed, but truth be told I have this little waitressing gig at a "restaurant down the street". I don't mind going in there because I know that I don't really need this job... waitressing jobs are a dime a dozen afterall. So by knowing this, there is a slight spring in my step when I enter the building and I actually smile. Come on, how many waitresses do you know that smile? Exactly.
After watching TV Lands 48 hours of Baywatch marathon, I've decided that I am going to be a beach lifeguard. They live such a glamourous life in huge houses sipping on champagne with the occasional rescue. I find the show very amusing, let's just say that the Baywatch writers were never nominated for an Emmy. Here's an example:
Mitch is talking to his son about his younger days looking for gold with his Uncle.
"We went to the river to rinse the water."
Now, Mitch, how does one rinse water?! Maybe by watching hours upon hours of Baywatch this weekend I have developed a little crush on David Hasslehoff... then again, maybe not.
So, tomorrow is an interview free day. That means I have errands to run, which basically boils down to the fact that I have GOT to shower tomorrow... tehe. I would also like to see Finding Neverland. Why, you ask. Well, let's see, it has Johnny Depp in it (duh!) and I really like Peter Pan and any Peter Pan related story. I never want to grow up... have you caught on to that one, yet?!
A good friend of mine e mailed me today and has brought up a couple comments about interviewing that she said I should address in a journal entry... I will do my best. However, I am sleepy, I worked this weekend (shocking), and am not feeling creative enough to amuse myself by writing another terribly long entry.
