New kitty!
For Christmas this year, I brought home a new cat! It was time, and this rescue sort of fell into my lap right when I was ready to start looking. She's really sweet and cuddly, but also still a bit hyper, so we're still in that learning phase. She's already litter trained, though, and loves her scratching post, so my furniture and everything are intact so far.
However, she's big on climbing and jumping, so a cat tree may be in our future. She's also much more into toys than my last cat, so I'll be accumulating those as well.

I haven't decided on a name yet. It's always such a difficult decision to make and I suck at it. Soon, I hope!
