Stupid association (grrr)
So yeah, I didn't plan on turning on the computer again, but I got a letter in the mail I had to deal with. It was from my homeowners association, telling me that someone has complained that my 'dog has been allowed to bark coninuously and often, during the early hours of the day. Please remedy this situation so that your neighbors rights to a peaceful community are upheld.' It then went on to threaten that if I didn't respon with written correspondence of my compliance within 7 days, I may be subject to a fine being placed on my assessment account.
The letter was dated May 16th. So basically I need to write a letter & get it in the mail tomorrow so there's a chance in hell of it arriving by Monday. I wrote the letter (pretty much just explaining I am not now and have never been a dogowner & therefore whoever complained should do a better job of figuring out where the barking is coming from), and went to print it.... when I remembered. My printer is broken. Guess it's a good thing I'm walking with my mother up by her place tomorrow so I can use her printer.
