I'm an artist but I also like being a writer. I'm not the most eloquent person there is but I'd like to think that my ideas are pretty damn good and that I can write interesting character dialogue. One thing I need to do is watch what I say online, anywhere. Sometimes I write things that could easily be taken the wrong way without me meaning anything behind it and when it's pointed out to me I feel like such a bigoted ass-hat. Like today I suggested that a lot of Halloween outfits are very slutty and skimpy; to some this could mean that I'm saying that women who wear skimpy Halloween costumes are slutty when that isn't my intention at all. I guess it's a case of some people being too sensitive and me not choosing my words or phrased selectively.
Speaking of writing I finished my 5-page script yesterday for the
Velocity anthology coming out early next year. The guy putting it all together has been great to work with so far and I'm really excited about the project.
I finished the Jean and Emma X-Men cover:
And I've
put it up on eBay.
