(no subject)
I am crap. I had to switch math teachers because the first teacher I had didn't feel comfortable with me using a calculator. I've missed two classes with the new teacher. I'm retarted I know!!!! I got on black board and looked at the syllabus for the new teacher and he assigns homework EVERY class and it's due by the next class no exceptions, even if there's a death in the family. Now why do people have to be like that? Seriously? If my mom dies I still have to turn in my homework? Kiss my ass after a good pooping. BUT...it's okay. I will prevail.
I finally got my plane ticket and a big warm coat and some new boots. The coat and boots were on a kick ass sale: I spent $44 total.
I think I've got the first act memorized, except for the finale. I'm pretty solid on notes and such, I just need to get solid on entrances and duration of rests/beats. The duet is %95 memorized. Aria is memorized, but I like to look at my notes when I'm singing it.
I have this semesters music picked out! Thank God. Last semester sucked in that area. I'm building my recital off all these. I've got two arias, three of Debussy's Ariette Oubliee (not sure how to spell that), two Strauss pieces. He wants me to do Le Bon Cuisine? by Bernstein. I've heard them done before, and their neat, but I don't know. I'd like to get a recording. Oh yeah, I couldn't access Naxos today. I tried to get in from the library homepage and when I clicked on Naxos it brought me to the main site where you log in. I tried my w# just to see, and it didn't work of course. I never could get in. I wanted to see if there were any of Jeanette Macdonald's recordings on there. I looked her up on widipedia today and read all about her. Interesting. Anyway, it said she recorded about 90 songs in her lifetime, so I was hoping Naxos would have something. They probably don't, but I guess I'll never know cause I can't get on it. I'll try later.
I don't know the requirements of a senior recital. I assume it's basically the same as a junior, just longer. I want to do at least one aria from every language. Or do they require that anyway? I should probably find that out. I think I'm hungry. My head hurts.
