Welcome to Part II of the Australian Speculative Fiction Carnival! There's been a lot of news, chat, snark and in depth analysis going on in the bloggerverse this month, particularly when it comes to the subject of writing. Here's a sample of some of the more interesting posts. If you notice any obvious omissions (that haven't already been covered by Part I), please note them in the comments.

New bloggers:
http://www.glendalarke.blogspot.comhttp://andrewmacrae.livejournal.comhttp://conjure2006.blogspot.com A fundraising appeal from Altair to help publish Kurt von Trojan's last book was posted on various blogs and websites including
here. And finally, to end on a happy note of happiness,
lonewolf23 AKA Martin Livings recently had his novel Carnies
accepted by Lothian Books. Let's hear a big Woohoo from the peanut gallery! The shock of becoming "an official novelist" was so great that Martin immediately fled the country. Please pay no attention to any rumours that Martin is actually evading a bidding war that has broken out worldwide for the publishing, film and merchanding rights to Skeletor and Hordak: the Novel.
Next month's carnival is at
deborahb's place. Please try not to trash the furniture or disturb the neightbours on your way out.
Thank you and good night.
