Summary: Donghae really likes the present Siwon brought him from England.
“Ah, splendid old chap, how jolly.” Donghae exclaimed from under a flat-cap, a red, plastic pipe clutched in his left hand a stuffed toy dog under his arm-pit.
“Eh?” Sungmin muttered, looking up from his sheet music, his eyes widening at the sight before him.
“I say, that’s some spiffing music you have there old pal.” Donghae continued, his right hand clasping at green braces holding up a pair of corduroy trousers which were a good couple of inches too short and showed off brightly coloured argyle socks.
“Thank you?” Sungmin replied, still looking mildly confused but writing it off as normal Donghaeism and returning to reading through the music.
Donghae paced the room a couple of times, puffing on his pipe which, as it turned out, blew bubbles.
“Rather magnificent weather today old son.” Donghae said, breaking the silence again.
“Really?” Sungmin said, looking up briefly, “I hadn’t noticed.”
“What what? Fine weather indeed, absolutely marvellous.”
“Hmmm.” Sungmin was already shuffling his papers again.
“I think the whole world has gone doolally, it’s just not cricket!”
“Donghae?” Sungmin sighed, a note of exasperation in his voice as he placed the sheet music on the table and silently counted up to ten and back down to zero. “What do you want?”
“It’s elementary old chap…”
“Hae!” Sungmin growled, his right eye beginning to twitch with irritation, “Have you been reading Harry Potter again?”
“Bloody hell no!” Donghae looked affronted, puffing his bubble-pipe again and Sungmin sighed, shaking his head.
“I say we should go and have an adventure, it will be jolly exciting. We could take the boat over to the island… it will be spiffingly good fun! What do you say?”
Sungmin took a deep breath, “Strawberry jam sandwiches?” He asked, defeated.
“With lashings of ginger beer!” Donghae practically squealed with excitement.
“The Famous Five.” Sungmin grumbled as he headed to the kitchen, “Why did Siwon decide to give him the Famous Five….”
