Title: The Untouchables Artist: cassiopeia7 Movie Prompt: The Untouchables Pairing: Sam/Dean AU Rating: PG Media: Ink, marker, and Photoshop Summary: Crowley ruled Chicago with absolute power. No one could touch him. No one could stop him. Until the Winchester brothers arrived. Notes: Notes after art.
With bonus!Crowley, King of the (Chicago) Underworld:
[Notes and such.] Notes: I adore “The Untouchables” and will fight anyone who denies its place in the pantheon of movie masterpieces. This project was originally slated to be J2, but Sam and Dean weren’t having it - this really is the Winchesters’s story. Casting Dean and Sam in the Kevin Costner and Andy Garcia roles was a given. The Sean Connery role had to go to Bobby Singer. And Charles Martin Smith’s nerdy, Garth-y accountant pretty much drew himself. But DeNiro’s devilish Capone? Azazel was a strong contender ... but you know it had to be our Crowley.
One day, someone will actually write the Winchester version of this, and I shall love that person forever.
Many thanks to my tireless beta quickreaver, who lent her artist’s eye and corrected my messes. Thanks to the awesome and fabulous movie-loving spn_cinema Mods who make all this possible. Finally, thanks to Brian DePalma for filming this beautiful love letter to 1920s-era Chicago.

Banner art progressions: Cleaned-up mess of a 3rd draft. Perspective, how does it work?
Jim B. looks more like Benny. Oops.
Once J2 morphed into the Winchesters, a weapons adjustment became necessary. (Bobby ended up carting a tommy gun instead of his regular shotgun because your artist was bored.)
Also, background? Who needs a background with all this going on? Certainly not your lazy artist! *erase-erase-erase*
