ANYWAY.
To all my flisties, please accept my apologies for being radio-silent / MIA for so long. I don't wanna be a Debbie Downer, but between family drama, more family drama, a major job disappointment, life-suckery, and a certain FUBAR'ed trainwreck of a U.S. Presidential election, this here Debbie has been, well . . . down . . . and suffering a major case of creative / fandom / life-in-general malaise.
But, as Jared would say . . . Always Keep Fighting. Thanks for that, Jared. :)
So this is me, emerging from hibernation and creeping from the cave in which I've been hiding.
Firstly, I want to thank all of you awesome and wonderful J2BB authors for doing what you do best. I wasn't at all sure I'd participate in this year's BB, but honestly, some of those summaries made me feel like the sun suddenly emerged from behind the gray clouds of life, awakened my cranky Muse, and have me actually excited to be pulling out the pencils again. Seriously, there are SO MANY AWESOME CHOICES! BRAVA, authors, brava -- y'all done good!! ♥_♥
Secondly, I sincerely apologize for my absence from LJ, my failure to reply and comment, and for abandoning ship for as long as I have. Some friggin' fangirl I've been. (I especially apologize to kalliel, walking_tornado, zubeneschamali (oh, holy hell, am I sorry!), roxymissrose, tifaching, and excoyote, as you guys had the misfortune of working with my considerably-less-than-100% self in the past year. You most certainly did not catch me at my best, and I am truly sorry. :(
Thirdly (and this is the embarrassing part), Thank you for the lovely birthday messages, madebyme_x, supernutjapan, a_carnal_mink, hugemind, meesasometimes, milly_gal, dephigravity, zubeneschamali, kalliel, jennytork, stir_of_echoes, herminekurotowa, and emmatheslayer.

Finally, there are a hell of a lot of comments on various posts and artworks that I've not yet responded to. I appreciate every comment, but this part will take some time, so please be patient?
