A little bit of everything.
On Tuesday, there were double goodies in the mail: From the Divine Miss M, maichan signed copy of Felicia Day's book excerpt (my reward for insulting Jared, Jensen, and maichan herself here); and from beautiful person and fellow rat lover, sillie82, a lovely letter which contained surprise!art of

A gift for the delightful roxymissrose, who threw down this gauntlet . . .

I had planned to put Tamara in a badass-hunter-with-weapon pose, but since it was my first time drawing her, I concentrated on her face instead. Hence the caricature/portrait-ish-ness. I'm not 100% thrilled with the piece for multiple reasons, mainly the crappy chin and jawline, and my clumsiness in rendering shading in deeper skin tones. But practice makes perfect, I suppose. (Caroline Chikezie is gorgeous -- the dark, cool lighting of 3.01 did not do her justice at ALL.)

The crinkled paper is from someone dropping the sketchpad down the stairs. Clumsy oaf is clumsy.
