I have absolutely nothing with opera, and I normally don't do character death either, but I do really enjoy your art, so here I am. :') Your Sam and Dean look great, as always. Really love the way you did Dean's freckles <3. Also, love seeing your sketches, so thanks for adding those. :D

Wow! So amazing!! I have just the thinnest, barest knowledge of opera, probably from childhood readings of opera dumbed down and sanitized for youth, lol!

This was so tragic, and really beautiful! I love your Cassie so much, and I'm really pleased you chose her! It did make sense for the reasons you chose, plus it's great to see a character of color being used to such excellent effect! Act 4--just fabulous!!

Thank you kindly, milady! ♥ Cassie is one of my absolute favorite characters (in addition to the fact that she got to make whoopie with Dean), and whenever I get the chance, I'm gonna draw her. :) (IDK, I think I may need to start drawing my favorite POC characters like Cassie, Henriksen, and Tamara just because -- they don't appear in nearly enough fics. (And I've never drawn Tamara, hmm . . . )

. . . that said, there will be more Cassie (well, Megalyn Echikunwoke, anyway) in zara_zee and my upcoming spn_cinema collab. So say tuned?

Your icon!!

Yes please! Start drawing them--it's nice to know that not everyone has forgotten them, and not everyone has forgotten that little insight into Dean's character, something I *really* liked about Dean. :)

Staying tuned!

YOU GO AND DRAW ANOTHER ENDING! I DEMAND HAPPINESS! *bawls*

The last picture breaks my heart.

Talk to Verdi, lady. I had nothing to do with that ending. XD

If it helps at all, I finished up the last piece with "Skyfall" playing on repeat, and it broke my heart too. Darn those tragic operas, anyway. *stands with you in broken-hearted solidarity*

Wow, thank you so much! ♥ It really, really means a lot to hear that from someone who loves the original opera. You've just made my day!
