I *ahem* am old enough to remember both the moon landings and the original show (i used to crush on Bill Bixby!) and this is just a great tribute as well as a marvelous adaptation!

Alas, I only ever saw the original show in syndication -- I didn't get to crush on Bill Bixby until his Incredible Hulk days. BUT. I do remember watching the launch and landings of Apollo 15, 16, and 17 on television. Does that count? :D
