Oh, I love this fic and you have captured this scene perfectly. The detail - including Jared's clothes is brilliant and I always adore vibrant colors. The green is perfect. Wonderful.
Oh my goodness! This is amazing BB! *MASSIVE HUGS*
What an awesome surprise!
Where do I even start? The green you've picked for Jensen's scales is perfect and I love and how smoothly blended the shading is. Awesome job on the anatomy too; all the joints look really natural and I love his pretty big wiiiinnggs, oh my god. Also, a quick check through the story shows that I never bothered to describe Jensen's horns, so how did you know he was meant to have one of those ridged cowls instead of two horns, you clever person? MIND READER.
And Jared! His pose is great - so full of action, I can almost see him scrambling backwards in shock. I want to pet his hair and his clothes are awesome (vest kink=hell yeah) and I love the way that he and Jensen are staring into each others' eyes. The Jared:dragon proportions are great, too.
Thank you! I'm amazed and humbled that my story encouraged you to create the sheer awesome that is this picture. You are a wonder. I am totally linking this from the Master Post.

LOL, you really don't wanna know how many different greens went into dragon!Jensen, 'cause it was a bunch.

But-but-- he does have horns. Lots of horns. Probably too many horns, as I got purely carried away with those things. Unless you mean the ridges above his eyes? That was just me trying to make him look more Jensen-y. XD
The Jared:dragon proportions are great, too.
That's because you do very good descriptions! The description of Jensen's "foot-long claws" folding around Jared helped a LOT in figuring out those proportions, so thank YOU. ;)
Glad you like! \o/ As I've said before, I love that fic!
orz Sorry, I mean he doesn't have ONLY two horns, but a number of them clustered around the top and sides of his head in one of those ridged... whatevers. I am certain that I have at least one reference book on my shelf that would tell me what that's called (because I consider books about dragons to be reference material), but clearly you know what I mean better than I do.

That is one of my favourite things about writing: my descriptions give every reader an idea of what I'm envisioning but also gives them the freedom to figure out the rest of the details for themselves. I am sure that some people's mental images of bits of my stories are so much more breathtaking than anything I came up with.
Also, are you cool with me posting your timestamp to my journal to share with others?
LOL, chartreuse, yellow-green, salad green, acid green, Nile green, pea green, light olive, forest green, willow, and pewter. And Kermit thinks it ain't easy being green. o_O

Frill? Like Triceratops? I doubt that's the proper term for dragons, but the only thing I could think of. :D (And how cool is it that you have dragon reference books?)

Aww, thank you! Of course, he's not nearly as beautiful as YOUR dragons, which looked much more organic and "real" . . . but when I read that scene, I knew I had to get it on paper.
Woot! Lady, this turned out awesome. You did a fantastic job on the head and horns (I think it does look like Jen!), and the wings are killer. Hell, it's all killer. You persevered, and it totally payed off. Fantabulous job!
