I fucking hate work
In the United States there's this federal law that says that any employee who works more than 40 hours per work week is entitled to no less than time and a half pay. Guess who did not get her 3.5 hours of pay and a half this pay check?
Furthermore, the time-sheet that I signed had a grand total of 83.75 hours for the past two weeks. Guess how many hours ended up on my final time-sheet? 82.75. Pray tell me what happened to that hour?
Furthermore, the time-sheets are supposed to be handed in 5 days prior to payroll, well, they weren't. He handed them in when I wasn't there, three days prior to payroll.
See, now I have to play the backstabbing and snitching game at work if I want to get anywhere - which sucks. I hate playing those games, but I can't let these douche bags push me around anymore! So now I have to call up the owner and bitch. Damn-it.
Anyone have any ideas in how to handle this situation gracefully before I have to turn into a complete bitch?
