Been seeing movies in the theater lately: hooray!

I'll stay mum about a few of them, because they're gone now and not on DVD yet, but...

Hancock would have been the pleasant surprise of the year if it wasn't for Kung Fu Panda. As it is it's the second. So much more like a small-run comic book than I expected, and I didn't even see the reputedly ( Read more... )

I mentally wrote Act Two of that play, but you wandered away topically before the curtain could go up. It went like this:

Me: But there's another thing it could have been too.

You: (Thinks for another moment.) Shorter?

Me: That's the one I was thinking of in the first place.

Also, Keith has nominated "nuking the fridge" as the "jumping the shark" of cinema.

I think the Roger Moore James Bond movies totally nuked the fridge at A View To A Kill.
