Crapity, Crap, Crap, Crap
SO I had said before I was moving on the 21st, well I called and changed to the 28th, because I have a wedding to go to this weekend (Congratulations Nick and Grace!!!!!).
Well the dumbasses at my apartment call me yesterday and were like, so we wanted to go over you move on Friday, and I said I called and changed that to next weekend. She said I will call you right back. Background... I am moving within my complex to a two bedroom apartment. I had originally planned to move on the 28th. They called and had me change to the 21st. I called the manager of the complex like a week later and said I couldn't move til the weekend of the 28th and she said "Sure I'll change that on the 'board'" I would have called and verified if I had talked to anyone else, but I figure it was the manager and she will do it for sure. Apparently she didn't. How would I have known there was a "Board" if I hadn't called. Anyway, they called back and she said no one remembers that so you have to move this weekend because we rented the apartment for the 29th. so...
I have to move this weekend.
I have nothing packed and didn't even have boxes til last night. I am very un-happy. They said they have to do a walk through today, I said whatever. They we see nothing is packed, and that they can't see what needs to be fixed yet anyway. I am so mad. I am consequently probably only going to sign a 6 month lease, and then get the hell out of doge in January.
However if they tell me today that I have to pay extra for a prorate on my new apartment, I will said no I don't and I will find somewhere else to live and I will stay until the 31st, when my rent is actually paid up til. Luckily the last thing I signed (my notice that I was vacating the apartment) states the 31st. so yeah, pissed off.
More importantly. I am going to the wedding on Saturday, and if I am not finished on Sunday oh well for the apartments.
If you wan to help me pack this week or move on Friday or Saturday, give me a call. I can use all the help i can get.
