What's you son going to be named?
So I had a good Thanksgiving. I spent 40 hours in Dallas, I had an excellent lunch at a really expensive restaurant in Dallas, then an excellent dinner at my dad's apartment in Dallas. Then I worked three straight days at LB, got sent home early twice and went to a wedding. Then I has another Thanksgiving dinner at xdamagedrosesx. All in all a busy three 4 day weekend where I didn't get to sleep as much as I would have liked.
So I was at said expensive restaurant with my mother and stepfather and we got on the topic of baby names, I of course said I want a junior and I don't have a girl's name picked out because I am awful at naming things, i.e. Jack the huge stuffed duck. Anyway, see my sister already has her baby names picked out, but they aren't going to have any kiddies until they move back to the states permanently (circa November 2006), which means no grandchildren until at least 9 months or so after that. So pretty much at LEAST a year and half wait. Well in the middle of baby name discussion, Mom was like "you know you could meet someone and have a baby by the time they get over here", i.e. next November. Well I was of course floored as that is so far in the distance as to not even be a blip on the radar. So I said "Wha-huh? That's really not up to you." And they said "it could happen" and I said "Wha-huh, I don't even have a boyfriend, and I don't see that happening at all, anytime soon." Then they just kept on talking about it like I hadn't said anything at all, like for the next 15 minutes. Then when I got back on Friday, they were like did you meet anyone on the plane? All I have to say is Wha-huh.
Also I went to my friends Robbie (McClendon) and Necia's wedding. It was great very nice and light hearted, good food and good friends. I really hope the best for them as they are a cute couple. I did not even try to catch the bouquet along with my friends Farron and Melanie, i.e.supermelanie. Jesse also did not catch the garter, a 6 year old boy did.
