This was written for the prompt "anchors have two prongs" by argentum_ls at the  Merrier the More Polyamory Ficathon. So, for one thing, I've apparently lost the ability to write comment!fic that is actually the length of comments? Also, um. Somehow this turned into porn? Which... I don't write? But. Somehow this happened anyway. And I'm just going to go crawl

I'm back, and maybe I'm more coherent. The story is bookmarked and memoried and recced.

Now for some actual comments. First: you couldn't have written this better for me if you'd sat me down and grilled me on what I like in fic first. Full moon problems and transformation sequences with pain, h/c, friendship, earned sexy times (as opposed to random porn), the choice of what sex acts to include, excellent characterization, plot. Seriously, if you're in my head, it's ok with me if you stay there.

One of the things I really enjoy finding in fics is strong character voices, in dialogue, internal monologue, or both. You've got that here. While it's not a dialogue heavy piece, every time a character does speak, it sounds like them.

I also love the tone and pace of the story, how the sentences are strung together and how they loop around and repeat what's been said before while also picking up new information and taking on new layers of meaning.

There really isn't anything about this story not to like, but those are the two things that

Oh my gosh, okay so I'm just replying to comments now because ~internet issues~ but I was so happy to read your original comment and see that you liked this, and just, I would thank you so much for that anyway, and now you even came back and said more things and are unbelievably lovely and I just \o/ Thank you!! It makes me so happy that this fit with the things you like, and it is really really amazing and relieving to hear that you liked the character voices and dialogue when there was any, I always stress about that the most I think, and this is still a really new fandom for me, so that means a lot! And that's so nice to hear about the pacing too, and like, god now I'm the one who can't seem to string my thoughts together coherently lol, but basically this was just the nicest thing to read and I am so happy that you enjoyed it, and thank you so much <3

Aw well thank you, still, it's really nice of you. :) And yeah, I actually do have another idea in mind for them! I came up with some ~future fic ideas that I was going to actually write into this prompt originally before I decided that it made more sense to set this during the show and write two separate fics. So at some point in the future when I get the time, hopefully I'll be able to write some future fic around these three :)
