Sansa Stark is a vision in grey and white, the last Stark standing, alive after all, and men fall to their knees before her.
Petyr falls last. She watches him slowly descend, cannot look anywhere else, and when his knees touch the floor is when she feels triumph.
HNNNNNGG men on their knees do things to me but more than anything this is littlefinger on his knees, this is littlefinger paying her the false reverence he reserves for tywin lannister and robert baratheon and ned stark. this is littlefinger, the most astute of all the players who recognizes what she is and what her potential is and what she is capable of and ugggghhhhh
They see the North, but she is just a girl.
UGHHHHH SO TRUE AND IT TIES IN SO WELL WITH THE THEMES THAT GRRM DOES. power is just a shadow on the wall and what people see is just the position of the people and their courtly roles in the world and the places they are expected to reside in and UGH JUST YES YES. and sansa now, more than ever, bears the stark name like a banner like a mark and sansa now isn't a girl anymore. sansa is the symbol. sansa is the revolution.
AND THIS. SIMPLY BECAUSE IT'S COLD AND UNFLINCHING AND JUST GENERALLY RUTHLESS AND RUTHLESS IS MY FAVORITE.
Freys with first names she does not know take his place instead, when they are shuffled into her hall, captured, and she orders them executed without once blinking or shuddering.

THESE TWO GIVE MY ALL THE FEELINGS TOO (CLEARLY, LOL) I don't even know if I ~ship~ it either, because, WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN IN THAT CASE, IDK FANDOM, do not want happy romanticizing at all, but, endlessly fascinating is accurate, and it is my favourite of Sansa's ships, because it seems like the relationship which she actually gets the most out of? And of all the Starks, I think she has always had the most innate understanding of the ~game, and the best developed as well, and Petyr is teaching her how to refine that, how to become her own sort of weapon, and I change my mind every day about how much I kinda want it to GLORIOUSLY BACKFIRE on him. QUEEN IN THE NORTH THO, YEEEEEEEEEEES.

like i get that it is HUGELY unhealthy seeing as, hum, petyr's recrafting of the woman he never had but dayuuuum. he's going to teach her how to rule and how to play the game and she is the stark with the most politically savvy head. she's going to be the queen of the game and the queen in the north and it'll backfire on him SO BEAUTIFULLY AND SHE IS GOING TO KILL HIM AND I CAN'T WAIT
and yeah, totes. she totes gets more out of this relationship than any other. i mean, i get it when people ship sansa/hound cos, ummmmm, maiden/knight subversion of trope but LOOK AT THIS SHIT. LOOK AT THIS.

sansa/hound does interest me on a lot a lot of levels but I've grown really wary just from seeing so many people shipping it in a ~happily ever after~ fluffy sort of way and now I tend to avoid, which is a shame :/
