I have to say, these are not the colors I am going with my logo(they were), or these aren't the final colors any way. It's uncompleted thus far. I hope to have the interface done tomorrow or Wednesday, if I feel well enough or if I get some sleep.
Anyway, a peek at the main illustration for my portfolio. This is not a photograph, this all done in Illustrator with gradient mesh for the most part. I cropped it as it's unfinished.
I am thinking....maybe deep purples, reds, and accent of light gold for logo? I am leaning toward dark now, when I originally wanted something light and vibrant. My theme was going to be artistic, but I want to cross that with dark. Being too vibrant tends to turn people off.
I am having trouble finding a font for logo, I think cornered myself when I went with this type of design for interface. Though maybe I can get away with an Art deco type font. I like Aristocat a lot, but it's 30 bucks or so. Undecided.
