It's Official!!!
Yep, I am now legally a homeowner at the ripe old age of 21. And in debt for 30 years. Wee. Well, at least I have something to look forward to when I'm 51. Now comes the fun part of picking paint, carpet, and appliances. I got all stainless steel appliances, so that already covered. The carpet I picked (it's so fucking soft!) is called linen. Kinda of a light cream/beige. AKA neutral. So the hard part is picking paint. The problem with that is that I haven't picked any furniture, decor, absolutely nothing. And after living in apartments for 3 years, all of which had white or off white walls, I'm sure as hell gonna paint with some color. As long as it's not red paint (which takes like 6 coats just to make it look right), I'm open to ideas. Also, decorating ideas would be great. Granted, I work at Bed Bath and Beyond, but I'm so sick of that place and looking at everything there, I honestly don't want to see any of that stuff in my house. Ever. There are three bedrooms, the kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, laundry room and the foyer that all need paint and decorating ideas. Please help! At this point I swear I'm just gonna go for haunted house.
On that note, anyone good at painting? Or just loves me enough to help me move what little furniture I own? Clothing is a different matter. I won't ask anyone to help me move that. It'll take weeks.
