(no subject)
Monday was the not normal day at work Marissa stuck around until almost 9pm. Which made doing my job very easy. Things are getting back into place. Mike is officially gone now. So things will be interesting in the store for a while.
Tuesday was a relaxing day. I did my job in the morning and things just seemed to go okay. I was interesting to run into someone buying books that I normally see at Suncoast. We chatting for a bit about books and books we like. He pointed out Tale of the Thunderbolt on the shelf to me. I'm very thankful to him. I gave him my thanks and suggested some books for him. Work ended I went home and read! I would like to say I got to finish reading the book that night. No. That did not happen right away. I did play some Ping-Pong with Paul. That night I did get a phone call from Mike asking for help. A short drive to Natick, I could do that. Since he was having UHal problems. I can understand that, since we have had our fair share of that.
I did not really sleep all that well on Tuesday night. That has been a theme lately for me. The lack of sleep is not helping with lots of things. So I got up early Wednesday morning. I worked a little on Premiere. I headed out to pick up Mike and Tammy. I got there we headed off to Natick. We talked about work, what I do at premiere and other odd things. They are moving to Maine, and this was most likely the last time I'll ever see them. Kinda sad, but an okay moment. We got to the place in Natick. Only to find out they rented the truck that they have reserved. Okay just great. So the next place we can get a truck for them is in Boston. UGH. So I call and cancel my hair cut and we drive to Boston. I can't believe the bad luck they were having. It would just continue their bad luck for all of this. They finally got the truck and I headed home.
I picked up the girls and made it for their hair cut. Would have been only 10 minutes late for mine, but they still could not sneak me back in. So I delayed my hair cut. The girls and I hung out for the rest of the afternoon. It was both Julia and Becca. I think Julia did okay, just she got bored. We did lift weights as well. Julia did okay. I don't think she will be back for a while.
Becca stayed over on Wednesday night. Thursday was a lazy day for me. I picked up 3 videos and just read. I finished Tale of the Thunderbolt. I loved it. There was great character development. December is just to far away. After finishing it. I did re-reading it again. Between reading and sleeping Thursday I at least feel more relaxed today. Becca stayed over again last night. I'm going to be busy with work and cleaning today, since I have done none for the past two days.
I feel a bit sore today. I'm hoping that a small bath will help easy some of that out of my muscles. Then I can go on with my normal daily work stuff.
