Reading, games and more...
It has been a quite few days here. I have had odds and ends I needed to do, but not got them all done. Cleaning never seems to ever be done. Our vacuum has made its last effort. I wish that we had the time and money to just replace it, but not always. So we shall what happens. I did have Christine over for organizing. We got a few things done, but need to do more soon. We are at a stand still for some of it. We need to do things on our end which means a lot of work but we will get there soon. I hope. I have work I need to finish before next week. It is not that hard to do it is just taking the time to do it.
We had a great thunder and lighting storm last week. I forgot how nice those can be. I did watch from the window in my bedroom for a while. With all the rain we had a for a while we did not really have thunder and lighting. It was nice to see it. It seems that after a few great days we are back to some raining again. I guess that is okay. It wont be a fun week with lots of it, but I'll deal as best as I can.
Book club last week was great. We got to pick out a baby blanket for a friend to do. That was fun. Plus reading a lot of books. I came home with more books than I'll read before next time. I hope to do a little reading. I have not got much done. UGH. I did finish deepwoods and Winter Duty came and I'm trying to read it without to many interruptions. So far it has not happened, but working on it. I do enjoy reading books by authors that I look forward to for months.
We had game night last Friday and only one person came, but still going to offer it for a while longer. We also had some friends and their family over for dinner. It was great to have them over. It seems that everyone had a fun time. We are having game night this Saturday. I am looking forward to it as always.
My fitness has been picking up again. I'm happy to say I did a few days last week and some this week. I took the weekend off but I should not have. Now I'm regretting it. I guess part of it is that I have been sleeping in and not getting as much done in the morning. It off sets my day but glad that I can sleep in some times.
