Anniversary weekend and more...

So my lack of computer is really starting to drive me up the wall. My laptop finally got taken back to Best Buy for them to look at it. I wont have it for 2 to 3 weeks. I'm so not happy about that. It is not a happy thing at all. I'm dealing but computer time has been limited. Not that it was really working all the great anyways.

I had book club last week. It took me forever to drive the 25 minutes. It took me just over an hour to get there. I was so annoyed at it. Not fun at all. There was not much I could do about traffic being back up to who knows how long. It was great to be there. I really do enjoy going. I got to get some new books and plus the ARC as well. I'm so excited about reading some of them. They will be new authors for me, so something different. Plus seeing everyone is great. I am always glad to see them and get to chat up everything. I did leave early so that I could help Paul with bottles. I had my first brew type injury. I got a blister on my hand. UGH, but it went away fast. It was interesting to do and somewhat annoying that the bottles would just not clean. I still am reading a few other books, but will put them on hold until I have finish the book club ones.

I did great on fitness last week. It was 5 days in a row and then 2 days of walking on the weekend. This week, I have failed to even try. BLAH. Yeah I know better than to put it off, but I have. Someone please help me get back to it. I also have not been eating as good the past two days. I don't know why either. I just need to get back into the habit of everything. I want to do some great things these next few months and I know that I can do it. I just have to keep going strong. I always feel better when I workout and do have more energy for the day. So I hope to do some walking today, but we shall see what happens.

My 12th anniversary was this past weekend, June 21st. Paul and I had a great time. It was a child free weekend. We had lunch and then we headed up to Rockport, MA. We stayed at a B&B called Seacreast Mannor. It was a wonderful play. I loved it there. I have some pictures on facebook from the trip. We wondered around Rockport by the sea and just let me have a fun time looking at it all. Yes the sea, so strange that I love to see it. Paul was not as excited. I guess growing in landlocked makes it sorta different. It was fun to see the Ocean and everything that was going on around it. I got to play on some rocks which I have not done in ages. I saw the beach and Paul and I talked about when we stopped up there ages ago to look at this place. It was a fast trip and most of the shops where closed at the time. We did get there late on that trip. I had so much fun looking around and seeing what the shops had. I was tempted with a few things to buy but ended up with chacos instead. I love my sandals and getting another pair is always nice. Plus this set was different color from the last. We did eat a lot of fish while we were out there. I enjoyed it. Plus we got fudge and salt water taffy. The breakfast we had was wonderful at the B&B.

We headed out that morning to see Hammond Castle. It was great to see what they did when building it and plus everything they put in it. I had a wonderful time just looking at everything and seeing what was what. I took tons of pictures and just enjoyed what they had. The workmanship on the place was amazing. Hammond was amazing in what he did. It was sad to hear he had no kids to pass it onto, but what they have done is really nice. I would love to go bad again and look around. The guy where you bought the tickets was fun and answered just about every question you had, including what does the button do. We tired to get a place to eat for lunch up there, but it did not happen. So we headed back to what we know and enjoyed that a lot.

I've been trying to do some planning around the house, but not always of it has been happening. I have some ideas of what I want to do, but need to get started on it. We did get further on the basement one night and now I think we will be working on it again. I can't believe just how much better it does look. I can't wait to have the area open to use again. We had not had much use of it for a while. I miss the ping-pong table. So much to do and so little time some times. I have not had my organizer over in a while. It has not worked out, but I'm trying to get a few things done. I want to get as much done in the next 6 months as possible. It is a goal to get it done and moving forward. I think we can do it. It just takes time.

I'm working on a new design. It has been different and easy at the same time. I hope to have it finished soon and then she can have her new site for when she moves. It will be taking up a lot of my computer time to do it. I love doing this and wish I could do it more often, but it just does not always happen. Now back to working on that design.
