Thanksgiving updates and more..
Wow it has been a while since I updated. I can't believe how much time has gone by and yet it all still seems the same. I am going to be a bridesmaid for Joey and Nancy's wedding. I'm looking forward to it. Some of the stuff or it is starting to happen now. I've never been one before, but I think it will be different. Amelia right now is the only one not in that wedding of the family. I know the theme will be green, but been a while since I wore anything really green.
I spent a few hours at Clay Time and really enjoyed that time. I got to talk to Nancy and just relaxing outside of the house. I don't get that often enough. I did have book club last week and I really did enjoy going to that. It is always fun to report on books and get new book ideas to read. I'm currently reading 3 books. How it happens is because little hands seem to pick them off and wander off with them. I'm reading Dragon Strike (found one small naming error) - and LOVING it, The Chalice, started Fish out of Water. I'm a little behind on the reading right now. I'm hoping that I can finish Dragon Strike before Tuesday and then finish the rest of them. It is nice to be reading, but I don't think I make enough time for it. I'm 2 books behind to make my goal of 50. I'll just have to keep with it.
My days are still starting really early. I don't always care for that, but I'm trying to make the best of it. It at least gives me time to get everything started and have part of the day for other things. I've been trying to get my fitness in first time in the morning. Does not matter what it is, but at least doing something. I have not been as good about the fitness as I need to be. My workout yesterday really knocked me for a loop and it was an easy one. I just need to keep with it. I might start mall walking again. I need to get the distance in and a few extra steps.
I have been doing some sewing again. I have not done much of that in a long time. I might pull out some of the patterns that I have and see about sewing me some more clothes instead of buying them. I'll have to buy some fabric but I think I might have enough to just do something at home. I did finish up some of the Christmas ornaments that I started last year, but I still have a few more to do. The child safe ones will be nice plus they look different. I also have done some minor sewing for Christmas presents. That is always fun to do.
The final stuff was finished up on Store and Style. It is a sigh of relief to have the final stuff done. I'm sure Paul is happy to be done as well. Now it is on to working on Premiere now. I have a lot of work to do with a re-design coming in parts.
We did some more organizing in the house. It looks really great. It is taking time, but at least we are getting somewhere. I have gotten rid of so much stuff. I have another box to go and place for some of the stuff to go. I'm happy with the changes. It is hard at time for me to do changes. I don't think I would have done some of this without someone giving suggestions.

Thanksgiving was sorta of good this year. I was dreading it and did tons of cleaning for it. My in-laws were coming I was not sure what to expect. After the last time they stayed I was just not sure. There are always suggestions about the house and how clean she kept her house. Well I'm not her. I did not hear as much this time, but does not mean it did not make me a little bit stressed about it. The coming was better than us going there.
I got a migraine the day before they came and while fixing thanksgiving dinner. With help I managed to drop the turkey (before it was cooked) and cooked the turkey upside down and did not notice. Cooking without half your vision is not fun. The dinner turned out okay. I made the pies and everything and did not feel rushed at all. It was not a great time, but it all worked out. I did relax afterward and had a nice time. I did crash early that night and did sleep for as long as I could.
Black Friday shopping was interesting this year. Mainly I go to the mall. The girls are up so we go. I got lots of strange looks, but oh well. I did 3 laps around the mall walking and then did some shopping. It was mainly looking for clothes for me. I did see a few things, but did not want to buy anything just yet. I got a few minor things, but nothing major. The mall was not as busy as it has been in the past. I was happy for that. I did not wait in line for any of my purchases. We hit best buy later for a cleaner for the TV screen and it was not bad there either. I'm sure it might have been during part of the day.
I got some anime watching done and also some movies. I watched Hancock and Star Wars: The clone movie. The star wars was just like watching a longer tv episode. I enjoyed Hancock a lot. I found it interesting and refreshingly different from all the other movies coming out. We shall see if they do more.
I have enjoyed facebook, because of the random people that are popping up that I know. I do enjoy of few of the apps and well playing just a little bit. Something small that is fun to do during the day randomly.
It has finally decided to get cold. I can't wait for snow. There is some hint it might snow today. Yes it will be cold, but at least there will be white stuff out there. I was hoping maybe this year I could go skiing. Joey offered to go last year, but it would not have really happened. I think this year it could. I just need to be ready to go. :) It has been a long time since I last went, but I think I could remember how to do it.
I'm hoping to get the Christmas tree up soon and then figure out what else will be going on in the house. I have lots to do and so little time to do it. There just never seems to be enough time.
