(no subject)
The weekend was a good one. Stressful but good. We headed down to NY for the weekend. It was nice. We also did make a small trip to PA to see the in-laws new house. It was nice to get out of the house for a bit. I have felt like I have cabin fever some times.
It was not a fourth of fireworks. It was a fourth of doing different things. We did see some fireworks from various times while driving. It was nice, but I do hope in a few years we will be able to see some.
We went by West Point again and with Kevin this time. Paul and I did part of it 2 years ago and it was fun to see the tour. It would be nice not to have been rushed everywhere, but you can't pick and choose about these things now. I loved to see the Chapel. I saw more of the museum as well. I had a fun time over the weekend. It was nice. It was also nice to spend some time with Kevin. I have not really got to do a lot of that since we were younger.
I also saw WALL-E. I loved that movie. It was a shock to get out but enjoyed it. We also saw it at the Lafayette Theatre. There was someone playing the organ when we got there this time. It was nice to see some movies and not feeling bad about it. I hope that I can do see it again.
I did do some reading, but it is going slowly right now. I hope to get more in today at some time, but not sure it will happen.
I'm happy to be home. It has certainly been an interesting weekend and one needed, but also hard at the same time.
I got up today and did my fitness and nothing else has happened. I would love to say that I got cleaning done but nothing like that has happened. I will need to get with it at some point and time.
