Updates...where are the updates...
Well I have to say this week is going much better than I thought it would. It seems strange that a week that is not great seems so much better than last week.
For small updates. We used a product and got ride of about 70% of the smell in the sofa. I'm not sure the rest of it will go away. We will have to replace the cushions of the sofa. I have called a few places and it looks like some of them can do just that if they have the originals to work from. We are going to give the product a little more time and go from there. I would rather do that treatment again than get replacement.
I feel bad that the first date they can get me in to remove them in a day surgery is October 2nd. It seems like forever away. I found that out on Monday. I was almost not happy to find it was going to be so long, but I guess that I can wait if I have to wait.
So far the week has been pain and more pain. It has made certain things hard to deal with. My concentration has not been as good. I'm trying to do the best right now. In part I feel that I'm failing as a mother during this time. Mainly because of the sudden lack of breast milk.
I am having an appointment next week to help with the pain. I'm glad that I have those options.
I went to book club on Tuesday. I loved seeing them again. I got some books that I'm thinking reading. I did read one ARC book that I was given. I loved it and would certainly recommend: Jacob: The Nightwalkers by Jacquelyn Frank. I have some others from that I want to read. In the last little bit I finished Raven's Shadow and I'm currently debating on the next book.
It promises to be an interesting weekend. It is the High Holidays for my in-laws. I'm going to hope that this weekend goes okay. Normally not a big deal, but this weekend it might be. I also have to pick a weekend soon that would be good for King Richards Faire. It will have to be between everything else.
I think that my feelings and emotions are going everywhere. It seems that things are not always what I want them to be.
This past weekend I enjoyed both Eureka and the stargate series. I think tomorrow should be a fun watch. I'm also looking forward to Dr. who and BSG coming soon. :)
I did manage to get some work done on Premiere this week. It was nice to have a laptop to work on such things easier. :) Laptop and wireless are a nice thing.
