Updates...way over due...
Saturday
It was going to be an interesting day. We had a few items to take care of. Plus meeting my in-laws and Paul's Aunt Susan for Christmas presents and dinner. cylon and I started off with looking at fridge's to replace the on that has been slowly dying. It can't hold a seal or anything. We did find one at Best Buy that we got. We then arranged for it to be delivered to our house on Monday. Yeah! No more old fridge. :) After that we headed to look at replacement furniture for the stuff that is broken/old at our place. We are looking for a glider to replace the "green chair". We got it from my parents and it is about 40 some years old now. So it needs to be replaced. We did some looking and I got ideas of what I like. Now I just need to find one and just get it. I might look online for that. During all the shopping Devin called to see how Rose and I were getting along. It was nice to hear from him. I can't believe that his kids are as old as they are. I used to baby sit from him when I was in college.
We arrived at my in-laws and saw Aunt Susan. She is odd, that is about all I have to say about that. We opened presents and like every year it is interesting to see what she will give us that we will never wear. This year would be slightly different since we have Rose now. It was some what a guessing game. She gave Paul t-shirts that he will wear. Which is shocking. I got a t-shirt as well and one small skirt and shirt set that I may never wear. Who knows. For Rose she gave her two outfits that have roses on them. It was a shock that we did get some stuff that we would wear. :) After presents and small chatting we headed out to dinner at Legal Seafoods. It was a very nice dinner. Rose managed to sleep through the dinner and we headed home after they got Paul a cake for his birthday.
Sunday
We were having Paul's birthday party. So we got everything ready at home and cleaned up and made the place look nice. I started on the food after I got back from Church. Becca priestess_riona came over to help out and just hang around the house with us. It was nice to have her over. She told us all about her boy friend. Before the party we broke out "We love katamari". It was just as much fun to play as the last game. :)
People started arriving for Paul's party. It was a good party for the most part. The "Green chair" that we were going to replace had it final breaking. Someone sat down in it really hard and it broke. *sniff* So not it is not really useable. Oh well, that is life. I spent most of the party dealing with a cranky Rose. She was just over excited or something. Everything got done taken care of and cooked by people since I could not get it all finished. I was exhausted when I went got to sleep. I think Rose was as well.
Monday
Monday morning bright and early I was up to deal with the fridge. I had to clean out the old fridge so they could put in the new fridge. It took me a while to get it all taken care of. I had the alarm set to wake me up but Rose had me up on time for it. They said the time was between 7am and 9am. They arrived at 6:56am. I was lucky I had everything done and cleaning out behind the fridge. I found lots of interesting items back there. We had never really looked behind it since we moved in. It had the last couple's kids picture behind it. That is the third picture of him that I have found. It was odd to find it for sure.
I got a package from premiere again. I have more CDs that I have to do work on than time right now. Who knows when I'll get to all the boxes that I have. It was a frustrating day with Rose and just dealing with that. I always wonder if I'm being a good mother or not. Must the rest of Monday was spent relaxing sorta.
Tuesday
I was finally this morning able to get in a full workout, a nice 60 minutes without interruptions. I have not had yet to date. I'm not sure how often that will happen. But it was very nice. The morning was spent doing some cleaning and then heading off to the dentist. Post pregnancy check-ups I heard can be fun. Since you body is very different and not the same. So my check-up went better than expected. I did have some cavities. Those are getting taken care of later this morning. After that I joined Marissa at the mall for some chatting and hanging out during her lunch break.
When I got home there was an email from Kenzie about her baby being born. It was fun to see pictures of her little boy. That was following by Joey darth_malek telling Paul and I that his grandmother passed away. I'll be going to that funeral this weekend. Death is such sad thing at times. So many of my friends are loosing love ones this past year. It seems hard to believe. That night was movie night for Paul and I. I will admit I slept through a lot of the movie "Brothers Grimm". I'll have to watch the parts that I missed. I blame lack of sleep on that.
Wednesday
Wednesday was relaxing for the most part. I did have a slight headache all day and worry that Rose was going to be crying at night again. We avoid that on Tuesday. I headed to Kmart to exchange some clothes that were given to Rose. She sorta is not wearing that size any more. I did get some exercise in and relaxed. I cooked a good dinner and I think I'll have to cook a dinner like that more often. It was very nice. Yummy Stir fry. But the evening ended in me dealing with Rose crying.
Thursday
Well today is Thrusday. So far all I have done is feed Rose and work on Premiere. This after noon I shall be taking Rose to her 2 month appointment. And well today rosecarol is 2 months. I can't believe that 2 months has passed by. It will be fun to see how much she has grown in weight and height today. Look for that information on her journal tonight.
Books
I did finally got some more reading in. Where I get it in...I'm not really sure, but I did. I finished " How To Marry a Millionaire Vampire" by Kerrelyn Sparks. Cute story and very short. I'm not sure what I'm reading next. I 'm drawing lots. I have some books I started last year and did not finish. I might try and finish those first.
My next few days will be busy. I'm not sure what all will be happening but I at least know Saturday morning I'll be in Western Mass for the funeral.
