"Shut up," she muttered to her brain, and pushed a stray branch out of her way as she plodded along the path. There was an infinite amount of woods out here. How was she supposed to find the girl?

She wondered if she could just let Dawn pass by and not say anything, but figured that that wasn't very nice. The girl had come looking for her, so she'd find her, even if she didn't want to talk to her. She waited the long while for Dawn to get near under the tree. "Up here." she said quietly.

She jumped a little when she heard Cassie's voice. Glancing up, she saw the blonde high up in a nearby tree. Even as she blushed ferociously, her brow furrowed. What's she doing up there?
"Uh... hi," she said, her voice nearly a squeak. She couldn't stop herself from wondering when, exactly, Cassie had fled the cabin during all that.

She bent her knees and wrapped her arms around them, not any more anxious to look at Cassie than Cassie seemed to be to look at her.

Probably not.
No way would it be that easy. She was silent for a couple minutes, ducking her head and letting her long, glossy hair fall where it would, obscuring her face. Just thinking. Finally, she raised her head and pushed it back with one hand. This was beyond awkward. She'd never had anything against the other girl, and still didn't. She had the nearly uncontrollable urge to ask about the hand-holding incident, or maybe what had happened in those famous dreams, but now wasn't the time.
