Off to Oz(or the cabin in the middle of the woods)

I stopped by to see if Avasa was all right since the last dream we shared I could tell he wasn't. Even if he is perfectly fine in dreams. He doesn't lie very well. Either way, I went to check on him, and met Willow (who's very pretty...beautiful really) and we all talked and somehow, I wound up being brought out to Avasa's cabin. I guess it really ( Read more... )

Cassie woke slowly. It was the moan followed by the soft thunk that did it. She opened her eyes, wondering what it was she'd heard and glanced into the other room.

She needed to leave. Fast. Like, ten minutes ago or something. She tried to clear her head and hoped that Avasa hadn't picked up that she'd been awakened. Quickly, she glanced around the room and saw the window. She moved over to it, and decided it was her best route. It wouldn't disturb the couple, and she could slink away to...er...wait outside. Or something. Clear head! She needed a clear head! She tried to center herself, and did, then went for the window.

Avasa deepened the kiss and lowered Dawn’s right leg, allowing her to have some freedom to move, while his left hand moved up her thigh. He was suddenly very interested in the girl in front of him, so interested in fact that when he heard the faintest flicker of someone waking her batted it off, now trailing the kisses down Dawn’s neck and along her collarbone.

Dawn couldn't stop shivering, a fine tremor that ran along her limbs and left a sprinkling of goosebumps in its wake. Her eyes were squeezed tightly closed, and her hands slid restlessly underneath the back of his shirt to find the warm skin of his back. Her breathing was rapid as his lips traveled.

Cassie got out the window without too much incident. she dropped down outside in a crouch, and was glad she hadn't caught anyone's attention. She focused herself on static. She'd almost thought of snow, had for a few seconds but the association wasn't one she wanted to go with. Static it was. It was as good as she was going to get for blank. Not when she could hear the enthusiastic making out going on.

She had to get out of there. She picked a direction and went, leaving the cabin behind. She promised herself she wouldn't go far, since...well, she didn't know if she went away if he'd start losing coherency again. That would be pretty traumatic for Dawn.

And that was the trick, really. Think about the trauma Dawn could go through, Avasa could go through, instead of her own feelings. So, right. Helping. Just helping in the not being in the way, way. Which was a perfectly valid way to help.

Helping. Yeah.

Cassie headed into the woods after hearing another muffled moan from the cabin.

Avasa took a deep breath, taking in the essence of Dawn, her scent. The closeness he felt wasn’t close enough. He wanted to be in her. He wanted to be a part of her. With great care he worked at Dawn’s jeans with his free hand, unclasping her belt enough so he could lower her jeans, all the while trailing kisses down and collarbone and up to the pace behind her ear. He felt her shiver and kept his grip on her left thigh, moving his right knee to support her up. Eventually his little butterfly kisses trailed along her cheek and made their way back to her lips, kissing her deeply. Needing. He couldn’t remember needing someone more in his entire life.

All she could think about was the warmth of his skin. It was like being in deep darkness and traveling toward the only source of light. She slid her hands around to the packed muscles of his stomach, then lower to begin unfastening and unzipping his jeans. There was no more unease, no more fear of anything as he explored the depths of her mouth. There was just this.

There was nothing outside of the room in that moment. No wind, no trees, no people in Sunnydale. It had all dropped away into nothingness, leaving only Dawn. Her smell, her touch, her taste. He could never stop tasting her. When he felt their jeans were no longer an issue he slid into her, his free hand finding hers to hold, intertwining their fingers. A gasp passed through him and her opened his mis-matched eyes to look at Dawn. To see the look of pleasure on her face. He pressed against her, leaving little butterfly kisses along her jaw.

Dawn's eyes were half-closed, and they locked onto his as her hand squeezed his tightly. They were an island, far out at sea, alone and complete. Her free hand held him to her, her body trembling at the growing heat his movements generated.

love you... love you... you're everything, all I ever wanted... need you...

He felt the heat rising in him and knew that at the moment he would fall over the edge, Dawn would be there to catch him. He'd never felt so safe in his entire life. He trailed his kisses to Dawn's earlobe and whispered "love you" in a shuddery breath.

She was lost, and she never wanted to be found. Feeling him, holding him, surrounding him, the scent of him all around her... the connection between them blazed as strong as it ever had, and she opened to him. Everything. Her head fell back, and sparks danced behind her eyes, blurring her vision. She couldn't speak.

...love you...

A kaleidescope of colors danced in his vision, he let everything go, everything he was holding on to. He fell into Dawn, pressing her against the wall, trying to catch his breathe. She didn't need to say it. She didn't need to say a word.
