I spent nearly 12 hours in zab today. Some was for class, some was for prepping, some for review sessions, and some for homework. I played in the orgo fridge, which smells really gross, played with the NMR some (dr.b. showed his real TAs how to run it and I crashed the party), mixed 85% sulfuric acid and 9 M sodium hydroxide (both of which are nasty things), played way too long with the flammables cabinet (resulting in a fumes headache for part of the day), and helped clean up lots of broken glassware in the pchem lab (which I don't attend nor do I techniqually TA). i finished my solid state hw (yay!), remembered that I have math hw due thursday that I haven't started, and handed in my first full draft of my thesis. I (sadly) had to deal with the shadow in orgo review, where one of the orgo kids got pissed off enough that they essentially told her to shut up. i got concerned about the comps because if dr. goddart writes the orgo part i am royally screwed for knowing what is going on (i definitely had never heard of about a third of the reactions in their review, and would like to point out that i have been TAing for this class for over a year now). julie and i did finish setting up for orgo lab though, which will be pretty much the last thing i have to set up for this semester (woo hoo!), although there will be plenty of other things for me to do while over there.

tomorrow and wed are going to be really long days too, but not because of zab. i still have a lot of hw to do that i put off due to the thesis thing (see before mentioned math, amongst other things) but this weekend should be (relatively) relaxing. For the most part, I feel like people have been getting pissed at me for doing my homework, and I DONT CARE. i pay waaayyyyy too much to go to school to blow off work my senior year. Today was really the first time in a long time that I haven't had a break to relax dring the day, and it really had nothing to do with doing too much hw. I really just had too much work in zab. to do.

Tomorrow i get to go shopping with julie (yay for scrapbooking obsessions), and i get to go see the aftermath of the play (aka help finish tearing down/ cleaning). I think the semester is going to be like coasting downhill from here, especially in comparison to what it has been like the past few weeks.
