sun, moon

PART ONE

SUN

there is an answer in the breeze tonight
the gypsy wind, she runs through me, touching more than skin
begging at my hair and clothes
sweet messenger between myself and the moon
she brings me one word in a long breathless sigh

"you"

the warm night sand is warm
i would lay naked here by the water to feel
my bare skin sink, and stick to it
so i do, and i swear that i see the darkness blush at
such a curved body so bright in the glow of a brazen moon
a watching moon, a wanting moon

"who's the best, who's the best"

still, i'm burning, nearly close to burning out
and quietly, chaotically still, and round i will remain
touching this skin to the sand where he spreads...
here is a place where the moonlight starts
a place where it begins and i end, but
i can not tell exactly where it is...
we are both here in some way upon the grains
we are both oceans with so many waves
calling out, answering and whispering in delirious delight

"you, you, you, you.....you"
