(no subject)
blah. so work has been really irritating. which sucks, because I had been so looking forward to going back because I ACTUALLY liked my job. but this year basically sucks. and they keep hiring new people, so now we're all getting less hours. I was told I was going to be getting 5 days a week, but this week, only four, and three out of those four, I'm scheduled to close. it's so irritating. but whatever. some people at work are just so stupid. and im getting frustrated because if any of us from last year screwed up like the new kids are this year, we would have gotten in so much trouble, but this year, NOTHING is being done. and its pissing me off, because not only do these kids screw everything up, they dont even care to learn the right way to do things. so many times, orders have been screwed up, one kid has already fucked up the server checkout twice, which ends up being SOOO much work for Danny at accounting - the other day, he was supposed to leave work at 4, but ended up having to stay til 7:30 because the new kid screwed up. and im really getting tired of all of them being like "oh well its an easy job so.. .whatever" yeah it is an easy job - when you know what youre doing! they havent even learned the menu yet, and theres like... NOTHING on the damn menu. sandwiches, burgers, salads. not that difficult. and seriously, the next time someone hands me an order for a sandwich and doesnt ask if the person wants lettuce and tomato on it, im gonna shove it up their ass. seriously, everytime:
me: derek, do they want lettuce and tomato?
derek: wha?
me: ::annoyed:: do they want lettuce and tomato on their sandwhich?
derek: ::turns to ask member, but sees that they left already:: uh... i dont know.
me: ::rolls eyes:: next time, ask them!
10 minutes later, the exact same conversation happens. seriously people, stop being stupid.
:( I'm sad, Brandon Inge is injured. tigers are having some trouble with all these injuries.
I saw a dermatologist yesterday. He gave me like... 4 prescriptions - a pill to take once a day, Differin to use once every other day, a body wash thing, and a lotion. the lotion apparently costs $250, but insurance covers all but $75 of it, which is still a shit-ton of money. but the doc says my skin should be 50% better in 4-6 weeks!! wooooo!!! he also thinks I'm probably allergic to benzoyl whatsit - basically the stuff that's in almost every kind of good facewash (proactiv, retin-a, etc). so yeah... hopefully everything will turn out good though. apparently this pill I have to take makes me really sensitive to the sun, so I'll basically burn like 4 times faster than usual, so I pretty much have to stay out of the sun.
anyway, I'm tired and I wanna watch CSI so... bye bye!!
