IUI
Hi ladies!
So I've made the decision (mentally and emotionally) to try to get pregnant via sperm bank sperm and IUI. I have my first meeting with an REI (reproductive endocrinologist) on sept 9th. I've long considered adoption, and it's still an option) but there is a part of me that wants to experience pregnancy too so I think I'm going to attempt this route first and if it doesn't work than go the adoption route. I'm not getting any younger and I've decided now is the time.
You all have been so supportive of me for many years and I was hoping you might share any experiences, questions to ask, things to be aware of, etc as I prepare for this first appt. I am lucky that I have a number of lesbian friends who are either currently in this process or recently given birth via an IUI pregnancy so they have been so helpful but I'm know many of you have lots of experience to share on this topic also.
I'm nervous and excited all at the same time! But definitely ready.
