in the blink of an eye, summer school is ending soon. i started out with wanting to be able to record my memories here on the blog at least once a week. but seems like i'm so inactive that it's not happening. asking me to blog about weekly events since day 1 would most probably force me to cut open my skull and dig for information since there are so many things that are done each day, it is impossible to go through them.
finals are on this thursday and truth to be told, i really am not prepared. but hey, it's summer school. isnt it all about having fun? guess my idea of fun doesnt coincide with what YISS has in mind. my friends in other unis in Seoul are already done with school and back home in Singapore. but here i am, struggling with my finals :( but still, i am really thankful for this opportunity presented to me. i learnt to do things alone, go out and speak in Korean to the service people, help guide my friends who don't know korean, etc. but most importantly, i also got many opportunities to visit many megachurches here, something which i am totally not inclined to do back in singapore. when we talk about megachurches in singapore, we think of thousands of people in a congregation. but here, it's not just a congregation. it's multiple congregations running throughout the whole day. each mega church here has their own "estate" with several different buildings. i am so awed by what the Koreans have done in this aspect. so many believers, so many churches. it just amazes me that God's hand is indeed working His way through this nation. and i also am thankful for the company of brothers that i met and brought me to these churches.
