Was asked to share some of my concept designs for what Ramhorn, Steeljaw and Zauru would look like had they appeared in the movie continuity with this comm.
Steeljaw's the oldest one of the three, having been drawn way back in 09. I've had someone tell me that he looks a lot like a fu or lion dog. Thus he's the only one with two optics.
Remember once seeing him from a movie comic and being disappointed in how unalien Ramhorn looked. So cue a drawing thing I do once a year and getting prompted to do more Autobot cassettes when I ran out of ideas, and a more alien design. Both he and Zauru were prompts filled for eerian_sadow .
Though I have to admit that Zauru was one of my favorites to do as an unabashed dinosaur lover. It was a bit of a challenge (the good kind) in giving his large forelegs enough of a hand but still act as a foot, though that was after he demanded little arms to work computers with.
The drawing thing is still going on this month so expect a few more to be done before February comes around. (also, did I post and tag everything right? *joined just to post these as they were asked and feels a little awkward*)
