Unbelievable!
I just learned from one of my students from St. Petersburg Russia that a Big Mac meal at their McDonald's costs the equivalent of $12 USD. WOW! I can't even IMAGINE that! But, he says, Russia is an expensive country to live in, and food is one of the most expensive things. From students living in Moscow, I have heard that a tiny 1 bedroom condo in Moscow costs the equivalent of over $750,000 USD!
