And I did! Today's meet rocked my socks! My medley relay team took 1st in the 200 Medley relay and it was quite an event. For once, I didn't swim backstroke at all today, but rather today was a butterfly day. Not only did I swim 50 fly in the relay, but I also had to swim a solid 100 as an individual event too! Kelci as usual took 1st, but I made an impressive 2nd in my fastest 100 fly time ever! 1:24... oh it was great! Mr. Williams seemed kinda shocked.. he had that look on his face like "WOAH! Where did that come from?!" And truth to tell, I was too! I wasn't expecting it to be as fast as it was. I really felt great when I got out the water. As for the 200 free relay, knowing full well we had a 2nd place finish being on the B team, everything went really well. I nailed a 33 on my 50 split. Everything went really well today, and everyone was in good spirits. What was even better was that I got to "bond" a little bit with Kelci and some of the other girls today. Discussing the life story was kinda the best way and I was able to share a little bit about myself. Worked out nicely. They're actually kinda cool. Anyways, gotta run guys! Bug ya later!
