Snowboarding and Faceplants... nuff said
I can safely say I have promoted myself from "Snow Bunny" to "Board Chick" I FINALLY taught myself how to snowboard today. That's right kids, no lesson, straight to the hill and a crash course in snowboarding! Oh it was so much fun... after my first run... and all 50 face plants... and the 45 minutes it took me to get down, I finally figured out I needed to switch my board to a lefty board... rather humiliating atually. Finally, after my 2nd run, I started to get the hang of it! And my last 2 runs of the night... perfect! No falls getting off the lift, no face plants going down the hill, it was great! I accomplished one of my goals... and it feels great.
