A day off...
Another cold, drought day in Edgewood, NM. I had to get out and water my plants yesterday so they will survive the winter! Boy was it cold, so I didn't finish. I'll have to do my grape vines and onions today. We were teased last night with snow, but it just a powdered sugar dusting, that is all, not near enough to save the plants. The thing I hate the most is dragging that heavy hose out there. I think I'll use my wagon to carry it, today. lol
And today will offer me the opportunity to do my taxes. Keep your fingers crossed for us that we won't owe! But first I will spend 45 minutes on the tread mill. It will give me the chance to read more of my book. Enjoying the Liveship Traders trilogy by Robin Hobb. I'm on the second book, Mad Ship atm.
Finally, I plan to end my day cooking up some chicken vegetable soup and a pot of chili and beans. Yum!
