Ugh! More snow!
*cries* Looks like January out there. :( And I just bought seven new plants to put in my courtyard. Luckily I brought them into the garage in time before they froze! We were hit with some really bad winds yesterday too that were blowing the clouds over the mountain in such an eery way that it looked just like a huge wave carving new crevices as it hugged the crest!
I had a eye doctor appointment in town to have my perscription renewed since I broke my driving glasses. I sure need those, yesss precious. :p When I came out of the clinic, half blind from having my eyes dialated, the winds had hit and I swear I thought it was going to carry me away! It took all that I had to close the car door. And I had to stop for gas!!
Once I got back up the mountain I started heading over to my sister's house to enjoy a huge family chingaderas as they do every year in celebration of Good Friday. Well, Donna lives deep in the Manzano mountains which were covered thickly with fog and a mist that was blowing around and agravating my wiper blades. They didn't know what to do; to gracefully clear the glass or to bounce, bump, bump, bump in such an irritating way that grinds my nerves! lol So here I am, half blind and dizzy (thats blind, not blonde roflmao) driving 50 mph on wet foggy roads and here comes some idiot who wants to tailgate me the whole 26 miles! Grrrr But I made it in one piece, filled my tummy with tons of food and drink, giggled at the babies and hugged a zillion family members. Then it was back home with the same conditions only now it was dark and I swear! the same tailgater! *thud*
I'm so sorry I've been neglecting you all for, gosh a couple of weeks now. I'm so behind on most of your posts that I am sure I'll never get caught up, so please bear with me. I'm just so dang busy with -work which is going full force since they finally funded us and we have to spend it quick or they'll take it all away again, -family issues that don't seem to calm down, -a dog who seems to enjoy watching me launder her bed, mop the tiles and shampoo my carpets at least twice a day *cries*, -and house issues that continue! I spent four hours yesterday with the fourth repairman to come and see if he can fix our dang heating unit. He found one problem which of course points to a faulty installation (I could strangle our builder!). But he was not able to find the cause for the fan of which will not turn off after the heat reaches the right temperature, so he has to come back Monday morning. *cries somemore* Does anyone know a good lawyer? :( Well, think positive, Patsy there has to be some good of all this...oh yes! I get to take off work Monday morning! lol See I told ya there was some good in this! *giggles*
So if I'm mia for a while please, please don't worry about me. I'm surviving and trying to keep a good attitude. :) You know me...I'm focusing on the positive and am bouncing all over the place in anticipation of Tolkien's new book!! Hmmm, wonder if I'll have time to read it. :p
