Beautiful End, My Friend + a New Rat
I woke up at 8.47a for my 8a class. Audrey got up to go to the bathroom and I realized I had slept in. I set my alarm last night. I dont know what happened. But I figured I couldnt be absent the last day of class, so I went an hour late.
Audrey was driving me crazy. I just wanted her to shut up and leave me alone.
Last night I couldnt go to sleep so I told Audrey that I was going to hang out in the bathroom for a while.
"What are you going to do in there?"
"Stare at myself in the mirror."
"That doesn't sound healthy, but whatever floats your boat..."
"[CLICK]"
So I brought a candle and my yoga mat and turned off all the lights. I did some sweet yoga moves and then I tried to meditate. I almost got there a couple times but it just wasnt happening. So I went to my bed and laid flat on my back and closed my eyes and I started to spin around in circles and that was nice.
I don't have O+M today. Or Wednesday. Or Friday. Or ever again. Hooray!
I think Dirty Dozen Brass Band is playing at Boone Saloon tonight. That means Doug is probably going when he gets out of class at 9p. I was going to make him dinner tonight. Since I dont have another 8a class on Wednesday, I can just do that Tuesday night instead, I suppose.
Brett said that Chris broke up with her. I feel bad because she was really naive about the whole situation. He cheated on her, evidentally. I tried to warn her. I believe I used the words "Brett, I think that is a really fucked up relationship." Anyhow, she also got kicked out of her home in Waxhaw and the people who were going to take care of Templeton are not going to anymore. That means I get to keep him! I am very excited about having a pet rat. She said the cage is too big and heavy to carry to the LLC, so I can ask Doug to drive down there with me and help us. I hope Audrey doesn't mind.
Ray was wrong. There is no snow. It is not nearly cold enough. I am wearing just a long sleeve shirt and I am fine. I am still a Ray Skeptic.
