It's amazing how easily people get distracted by completely fact-free hysteria these days. It goes without saying, of course, that the so-called "Ground Zero Mosque" is not at Ground Zero - in fact, it's not even visible from Ground Zero - and it's also not a mosque. It's not even distinguishable from the local surroundings, in fact:

Thunderf00t's also losing it lately, behaving much more like the average right-wing nut as far as "the Muslims" are concerned. He tends to see them as a globally uniform monoculture, when in reality an American Muslim and a Saudi Arabian Muslim can be utterly different. When the hard-liners in Saudi Arabia restrict individual freedom, that's not the personal fault or choice of every Muslim in the world, and it's not right that every Muslim should be treated as accountable. Persecuting American Muslims because of the crimes or policies of extremists in other countries is a bit like claiming African Americans shouldn't be allowed to vote because many African nations don't enjoy or practice democracy. Absolutely, the conservative Muslim nations are among the least free societies in the world today, but that doesn't automatically condemn everyone who belongs to the same religion. After all, Michael Caine - a Christian - is happily married to a Muslim woman who doesn't spend her time trying to convert or kill him. T-Pain is also Muslim, and will happily rap alongside the guys from The Lonely Island, arguably some of the whitest, Jewish-est men in Hollywood.

In related news: the Pentagon has a chapel that was built prior to the 9/11 attacks; it's used as a prayer room by their Muslim staff members and there's been no outcry. Also, London is full of Catholic churches despite enduring decades of terrorism from Catholics in the IRA.
