Elusive Subject is Elusive
Updates on the Savings Plan: It's sort of going well. My Sakura coinbank is definitely getting heavier and the 5% seems to be safe in the bank... However I am struggling. It's hard not to buy food that I like and it's sad that I won't get to watch Night At the Museum 2 this weekend. Unless by some miracle my salary comes in earlier. I just couldn't afford it this weekend. I am very sad. ._.
American Idol wrapped up yesterday with Kris Allen winding up as the winner. It was expected, but it still made me sad. I really wanted Adam to win. I really think he deserved the title, given how talented he was. At the same time, I just knew that he wasn't really American Idol material, for what is an American Idol, but someone who is clean-cut and likable with some musical talent? Adam certainly goes beyond the American Idol mold, I think. He's so, so talented, but it's either you like him or you hate him, nothing in between. Well, whatever. I'm sure Adam would be successful beyond his run at American Idol. If he finds himself here sometime, I think I would definitely try my damndest to grab a ticket and watch him. ^^ As for Kris, congratulations. I think he deserved winning in his own way since he really grew thoughtout the competition. See you again next year, American Idol~
I've also gotten around to getting a Facebook account. If anyone adds you by the name of Crissy Mendoza, that's me. XD; My boss asked me to investigate Facebook for work and of course that required an account. And here I was saying that I wouldn't get one. HAH. I'm also considering getting a Twitter, since it looks interesting and I want to stalk Jensen Ackles. We'll see.
Meanwhile, work sucks. I've been slacking off because I really can't seem to find the drive to do work. Finding projects is a chore and I know that I should do something, but... ARGH. TOO MUCH DAMNED EFFORT. What is wrong with me this week? Maybe I should start looking for another job...
Friday today, weekend tomorrow. Supernatural, L Word, and Kuroshitsuji marathon here we come~
