Munich: Projekt Revolution @ Reitstadion Riem
People: 2359897 (rough guess by me *lol*)
Me and my friend: two of them
Was it worth getting up early, driving 3 and a half hours and enduring the heat?
Heck yes! Wanna know why, then keep on reading:
(dont worry I try to make it short and dont ramble to much )
The Blackout: They were the first to open the show and since they were the main reason, next to Linkin Park, why we came, I was a tad worried we wouldnt make it to the stage in time.
But luckily, once inside we had enough time to look for a propper place to watch. (Even though we found an even better one later)
Ive seen the Blackout two times so far and everytime it was mindblowing.
It wasnt much different this time, cos even if they played just half an hour and hardly anyone knew them, they put on quite a show!
People around us looked pretty suprise as we sang along nearly every song, but that didnt bother us, actually it was kinda funny.
And once "Its high tide baby" started we werent the only ones to sing, luckily the chorus isnt difficult to teach.
It definitely made appetite for their tour in September and I hope they come to Vienna again.
The Used: First thing to say: half an hour was way to short! I really hope they come to Austria for a single show soon.
They played a really good mix of all three record, and I couldnt help to sing along all the time again. Even if I have to say that I missed "I chaught fire" again.
Bert seemed to be in a pretty good mood, he smiled an jocked a lot and I think he gained a little weight which suits him great. All in all me made a really content impression.
And believe it or not: He sang "...and I lost all doubts in a chemical romance..." during "Take it away". A few people around us looked at us a bit strange as we squealed of joy at this. *lmao*
Quinn looked great as always and I swear since he had this one-coloured short hair, he looks even more like one of the collegues.
We also saw Sean (the Blackout) standing at the side watching the show what I found really sweet.
N.E.RD.: I have to admit I didnt really watch them. The only thing I saw is that Bert came onstage and sang a song with them and then stayed to "dance" during another one.
HIM: It was really interesting to see my ex-favourite-band-for-years again. I have to say I enjoyed the show, it was just like they used to be.
They played a lot of their old songs and that was great. To my surprise I havent forgotten as much lyrics as I thought.
Plus: they ended the show with Rebell Yell, which was totally kick-ass. I always wanted to hear the song live, and finally it happened!
I cant believe how long Linde's are now, I remember the time they just reached his shoulders.
But there was one thing, I really dont understand: It was freaking hot, so how did Mige and Ville bear their wooly hats? Another thing that hasnt changed. *lmao*
And when the sun finally started to go down, it was time for...
Linkin Park: its always something different when the headliner finally comes. It has a specical vibe and of course it was the same this time when Linkin Park entered the stage.
They started with Once Step Closer and immidiately had the crowd under their spell. I dont really have to say much, cos I dunno how to discribe how amazing the show was!
Every song a smasher, with three ballads in between. We also got an explanation why we didnt get the new video yet. Its cos people here just cant get enough of "Given Up". *lmao* Well, for me, its totally true.
But I also love the new single.
For one and a half hour we just partied and sang our hearts out. It was amazing, totally mindblowing!
I already saw them last year at Nova Rock and I have to say this time it was even better!
Uhm, next year again? *lmao*
Very special thanks to my friend Beatrice, who made the trip with me!
It was awesome!
And please dont upload any shitty picture of me. *lmao*
